Sweet Relief Musicians Fund

What Is It?
Sweet Relief Musicians Fund provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians and music industry workers who are struggling to make ends meet while facing physical or mental health issues, disability, or age-related problems.

Background
Founded in 1994 by singer-songwriter Victoria Williams, Sweet Relief Musicians Fund is a 501-C3 nonprofit charity that provides emergency financial assistance and support to music industry professionals, including career musicians, road crew, and others who rely on music for their livelihood. Victoria created Sweet Relief after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis while on tour with Neil Young, and the organization has since become a crucial resource for those in need within the music community.

Why I Support It
As a music creator, I understand the challenges faced by those who dedicate their lives to this industry. The journey can be unpredictable, and many musicians and crew members find themselves in difficult financial situations due to illness, injury, or unforeseen circumstances. Sweet Relief ensures that those who bring joy to others through their craft are taken care of when they need it most, and that’s a cause I’m proud to stand behind.
